« Joining my time, skills and values to fight for causes I care about is my purpose »
« Co-founder of La BAFFE – Sorbonne University’s feminist society-, I first discovered the associative universe through my battles for gender equality.
After a Bachelor in Modern Literature & English, I joined the civic service ‘Dream & Achieve’ of the Unis-Cité association. There, I have been able to build and manage my own social project for 8 months; I co-created the project A Voix Hautes (i.e. ‘Outloud’) aiming at providing education on gender & sexuality through trainings and digital content. With thousands of animated trainings in schools & companies, and more than 45,000 views on our YouTube channel in 1 year, this project considerably strengthened my feminist convictions!
Joining my time, skills & values to fight for causes I care about then became my purpose. I joined a Master degree in International Humanitarian Action in September 2018 to enrich my knowledge, actions, and prepare me the best for the associative & humanitarian fields.
Through several and diverse experiences as a volunteer, I rapidly noticed the link between social and environmental justice. I am convinced an inclusive work around identity, communitarian & cultural specificities is one of the keys to resolve environmental troubles.
My meeting with Aimée was based on our relationship with travels and international encounters. We traveled together before even knowing each other and we kept doing it with the same interest for alternative ways of traveling, mainly through Couchsurfing and the exploration of Nature.
The ‘A Portée De Main’ association was to me the beginning of an incredibly rich adventure. It was the opportunity to make the best use of our skills in order to spread humanistic & inclusive values to the widest audience around a collective vision of Nature. »
